Are you going to wrap baby’s Christmas presents?

This is baby’s first Christmas so we want to make it special. However it seems a little silly to spend money on wrapping paper for her gifts if we’re just going to open them up for her. She’s too young to do it herself. I’ve bought her a Christmas stocking instead but wondering now if she’ll like having the wrapping paper ripped open?

I am going to wrap the presents. My baby is 9 weeks and he is starting to grab onto things and it is cute for pics ha

I’m only wrapping a couple of hers as I’ve got other presents to wrap for my nieces so I have the paper so just going to wrap a couple of her toys and maybe a book or two that I got her also.

We just did it super loose with like one piece of tape so it was easy to rip/poke holes in

Depends on their age! We just filled a box with toys and let her pull them out last year (she was 5 months) This year we’ve got her a play kitchen so definitely NOT wrapping that 😂 but will have it all set up for her in the morning

I think I’ll stick everything in her Christmas stocking and maybe wrap one special gift. She’ll get plenty of wrapping paper to play with when everyone unwraps theirs. Baby will be 6 months but at the moment, is still more of an observer.

I wrapped a few but not much atol and my daughter was 10 months 😂 she got bored after about 2-3 presents

I am wrapping my babys (will be 5 months) for the sake of keeping my toddler feeling included and the pictures, and I did wrap my sons when he just turned one. If I were in your situation I would do as you said and stick some dollar store tissue paper in the top of the stocking.

I’ve only bought my (now 9 week old) one gift (a personalised nursery rhymes book) but will be wrapping it and asking her big brother to help open it. I also have a 2 year old but will only be wrapping a couple of his gifts, the rest I will be setting up out of their boxes as it’ll take ages to do that on Xmas morning and he’ll get impatient to play with them

I have a toddler so going to wrap one or two things for our newborn just so he sees she has got presents too. As he’ll def notice 😆 Otherwise we wouldn’t actually of got her any presents as she will be 6 weeks old and have bought her lots of bits in general

My son was 11 months his first Xmas and I wrapped everything and it took him a couple presents to understand and then he loved it but had more fun with the paper than the presents 😂 I think a lot depends on the age and also the child though and also for us no one else really had anything to unwrap so Christmas was all about him

My lg will be 10.5 months at Christmas and I think I’m going to wrap hers in tissue paper, so she can easily unwrap them herself by tearing in to it ☺️

We didn’t for the first few years as he didn’t really understand and got a bit overwhelmed with everything else going on but he’s 3 this year and actually understands christmas / santa etc so we’re going to start now

My baby liked the washing paper and boxes more than the gift so maybe wrap a couple? Xx

I wrapped the gifts for my baby’s first Christmas and I plan to do it this year too. He’s 14 months nows.

For me it’s simply about the aesthetics

Clicked no on accident (thanks to a breast feeding baby 🤣) Meant to click yes. She’ll be 6 weeks. I have a 2 yr old as well, but I wrapped his first too. He was 3 months
