Second time mums: gift from baby

Second (or third, fourth etc) time mums, are you doing a "gift from baby"? I would like to do one for my son. He'll be 2y3mo when baby arrives and so has not long had his birthday, and then, of course, Christmas. So I'm at a loss of what I can do as a gift from his brother. I would love to do something like a busy box that we can get out when baby is being fed. Things I'm thinking (obviously must be usable without supervision): - his own baby (he has a doll, but its only small, so maybe get him a bigger one?) - sticker books (he has these anyway so not sure how special they'll be) - reintroducing his little toddler camera someone bought him a while ago and he was too young for (thought it'd be cute to let him capture his experience from his eyes) Other than that, I'm kknd of stumped. He has a lovely range of toys already. He's too young for me to give him free reign of his magnatiles and toys similar to that without supervision. He is into colouring and crafts but again I need to supervise him with these. Anyone had any other thoughts?

You just remind me of doing that, I was so focus on Christmas gift that I forgot about the gift from the baby. Does your son love cars or train? With that, he can play independently. If he likes colouring why not one of those colouring book with water pen to avoid mess and same he can play on his own, there is the mat version as well.

@Marie reluctant to buy him any more cars 🙈 same for the water books, he has a couple family bought him already. Maybe a new one wouldn't be a bad idea though!

@Elly oh I get that. Mine as tones of cars as well but he loves them all and all sort of vehicles but I still bought him construction vehicles for Christmas🙈....why not a small Duplo Lego set then?

Yes. Our new baby has got 2yr3m old another tractor as we know he will love it straight away

We've got our son tractors from the baby, simply because he will absolutely love them! He adores vehicles, but doesn't own tractors. It's a guaranteed hit 😁
