I got a ton of unwanted stuff from my families too. Take a deep breath and let it go. She is being kind and trying to spoil you. That being said feel free to take it straight to the thrift shop. Or stick it in the closet for a couple of weeks before donating it. Some of the things we got turned out to be more useful then we expected. Other stuff is still sitting on the back porch waiting for a thrift trip. Other things we donated unopened.
Embrace it - saves you forking out!! May it continue and you can toy rotate throughout the year. Toys and entertainment get very expensive as they get older!!
I would be like.. shall I bring these toys over to yours for when the baby comes over? Hahahaha I only live in a small cottage and I’ve had messages for people wanting to buy her gifts. I’ve had to be quite firm and say I’ve got nowhere for it or she’s too young to have it.
My MIL is the same and it’s my little boys 3rd Christmas and nothing has changed! I’m sure they mean well but it’s so irritating when she gets things we were planning on!🙄
