Well, I work from home as well, and I go back to work in a few days so I can let you know. So far, I've heard baby wearing, using the boppy for hands-free nursing, and just try to take it a day at a time
So I went back to work today, and it took some maneuvering, but here is what I did. For background, I make calls mostly all day as well as use a laptop to perform basic data entry. I used the boppy to breastfeed, and that gave my hands some freedom. For naps, I wasn't able to get the baby wrap on without her waking up, so I let her sleep on my lap basically or against my chest using 1 arm to type. During breaks, I would nurse and spend time with her and give cuddles. During crying sessions, I would mute, reposition, and settle her, which would take about 5 minutes
Tomorrow I will try to see how to get the wrap on without having baby too upset
Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m still figuring out how to use the wrap but I’ll keep practicing, seems like it will be helpful.
@Angelica , no problem! I'm using the wrap now after she's been fed, changed, and drowsy, and I can tell you she seems pretty content 😊
If you used the wrap, maybe wear light clothes for you and baby. I had to have her in just a diaper, but we run hot naturally
