Nursery teachers Christmas gifts

I had forgotten about this until tonight 🙈 do you buy gifts for your nursery teachers? I’m not sure what the etiquette is here. If there are any nursery teachers in this group could you share your best gifts?! And how do you get round not knowing all the staff that are in your child’s room at nursery?

We have 2 x childminders and give them a bottle of wine & chocolates. They get our kids a book usually. I'd ask other parents at your nursery what the norms are. It will be different in each place in my experience.

My little one has made cards (mum mostly) and I'm gonna get a box of hero's for them too 🙂

We are giving 1 card for the team and I’m making some cupcakes for them 😁 I don’t think there’s any rule, it’s just whatever you want to do 👍🏼😁xx

I’m doing a card for each person, chocolates for the office staff, chocolates for the room my daughter is in, gift card for the key person. I don’t think there’s a hard rule on it but I really like the team as a whole and feel it’s a bit unfair to just buy for one person. X

We’ve done a card and box of chocolates (celebrations) for the whole team. There’s maybe 12-14 staff members so too many to do gifts for everyone, and they’re all in and out of each room so wouldn’t feel right getting something for one but not another. Do whatever you can/want to do, I’m sure they’ll appreciate the thought of anything really

I must be a right grinch as I wouldn’t give any gift or card 🤣 I may change my tune as time goes on but I don’t like the peer pressure feeling like you have to
