Advent Calendars... for the new year?

I made candy box themed advent calendars with candy wrapped gifts and gingerbread house themed advent calendars with gumdrop wrapped gifts this year and had so much getting creative with the gifts! I'm thinking of making a few for the new year as a 'count up' for the first 30 days of the new year. I think it will be nice to help with that boring time in between Xmas and Valentine's Day. Any suggestions for a theme or creative cheap gift?
