Pregnancy Pillow

I have seen a lot of videos of mums to be using a pregnancy pillow however I haven't felt a need to use it yet. I am 26 weeks currently but just wondering if it is really required and if yes then from which week ?

It’s not required but would benefit you in the third trimester if you roll in your back a lot. I have one but I used it early in my last pregnancy because I have spd in pregnancies so it helps my pain. But this time round although I need it I don’t use it because it’s hard to keep getting out of when my current baby wakes up all the time I’ll use it more if he sleeps better

From around 15wks I had really painful PGP/SPD, I wouldn't have been able to sleep without a pregnancy pillow. I had a full body 'U' shaped one. Also helped stop me rolling onto my back. Not everyone uses them though ☺️ x

Im 37 weeks on Wednesday and don’t have a pregnancy pillow 🤷🏻‍♀️ I tried three different types but they were all uncomfortable and a waste of my money tbh. I literally use a pillow between my legs every night and sleep well

I personally ditched the pregnancy pillow and got a huge wedge pillow. My problem was acid reflux. I would wake up in the middle of the night feeling like a fire breathing dragon

I've got 2 wedge pillows one for under my bump and one behind to stop me rolling on my back been using since about 18 weeks purely for stopping back sleeping. I definitely notice now if I don't use them I wake up a bit sore but I wouldn't say they're a must if you're sleeping well and not feeling uncomfortable then save your pennies for something else baby needs!
