@Rachel it’s a school so you can’t pay to do more hours
@Abby and they don't do morning sessions?
Use a private nursery instead and do full days.
It’s probably best to go for a private nursery because even if the school nursery managed to increase her hours you will have issues during school holidays as they will be closed. Alternatively, if you have family who can help out you could ask them to make up the short fall. I have the same worry about when my boy starts school. I went back to work full time when he was 9 months old and he’s at a private nursery full days Monday-Friday. When he starts school it’s going to be a nightmare getting hours covered before and after school and during the school holidays. It’s giving me anxiety thinking about it as we don’t have any family help. But I think in your situation set days and hours at a private nursery will have your situation sorted for the next few years! Xx
All private nurseries are full x
@Rachel they do but no space in mornings only got afternoons available x
Part time job from home with flexible hours? Or a job at the nursery/school? There might be some local businesses that only need help a couple hours a day to do some admin work or cleaning or something?
Dinner lady? Career? Delivery driver?
Cleaner is your best bet but then it’s finding one with the suitability for you x
Could you not increase their nursery hours?
