I returned to full time when my baby was 3 months and it was hard. I would take her beanie with me since she didn’t need it. It’s kinda weird but smelling it helped. Over two months later I still take the beanie but I just hold onto it. I mainly take care of my girl at night too. My husband a chimney sweep so can’t have him getting tired on the job. Plus he’s such a heavy sleeper half the time he doesn’t hear her.
Hi, OMG we are in the same situation. I'm not back to work yet. I'm about to in January and I don't know what to do cause my husband works day time and I work Overnight and He needs his sleeps. Plus I can't change shift cause He's taking Classes in the afternoon after his job I can't afford to stay at home. I don't know how to go about this.
I can't imagine going back to work with such a young baby, thats tough. I went back when my others were about 10 months (full time aswell) and it was so tiring. I'll be going back this time when my girl is just over a year old, so really hoping her sleep us consistent by then!
I go back jan 2nd and my boy will be 6 months. I have been quite honest with my manager and said I am fully commited to work but I just might need a bit of flexibility like if he is having a bad morning let me work later or if I need to drop off to deal With him let me make the time up. They are being very understanding. I do work from home tho so I know this can be different. You got this!! We got no choice but to make this work!! Xxx
I was just about to ask this! I'll only have 3 months maternity. I haven't had my baby yet and I'm already so anxious about the leaving him and going back to work 😩
Me I Only have 12 weeks, which is gonna be over beginning of January and my baby was premature, He was in the NICU for over a month so I don't get much time with him. Yet I have to go back soon plus I don't really have help for night time when I'm at work my husband can't really do it.
I went back after 4 months and fell into a routine etc quite quickly. It’s tough but you got this x
