You are supposed to inform them :) I had EBT for a bit and they told me I had to inform them of any changes. My husband ended up getting a good job so I had to let them know
If you don’t tell them and collect benefits, they can sue you and you’ll be arrested for collecting the benefits. Also, reapply. You may still be eligible for benefits and with the price of food… every bit helps.
@Kotah did they ask you for anything after you told them or just ended your benefits?
My husband just ended it they didn’t ask him for further documentation!
@Kotah thank you! Just wanted to make sure. I will use this month and just give them a call in 2 days because we still need that extra help but after that we should be fine.

He did automated over the phone!
I would send them the information. It doesn't hurt to reapply even if you think now you won't need it. If they deny it they deny it or they might lower the amount you get. It's still worth a shot.
