Watch you get pregnant now that you’ve stopped trying😌 It happened to me.
This message made me sad. Please be kind to yourself. And it will happen when you least expect it.
Aw I’m sorry. Wishing you all the best. Sometimes people get pregnant when they least expect it and when they aren’t trying. So maybe in this time of relaxing and not stressing maybe your body will be calm enough. Good luck
I’m so sorry to read this. It’s incredibly frustrating to have people say that it will happen when you least expect it because it’s a load of rubbish and completely untrue. It makes your feelings feel completely invalidated! Fertility and TTC is crap. I’m curious as to why the NHS won’t support you both as it sounds like you have unexplained infertility, and unless one of you have a child/ren from a previous relationship then you should be entitled to funded fertility treatment. My advice would be to push your GP for a referral to a fertility clinic. We had 4 years TTC with unexplained infertility, a loss at 20 weeks after 2 cycles of IUI and now 14 weeks pregnant after another 2 funded IUIs. I hope you manage to get to where you want to be x
One of our friends tried to conceive for 14 years. Miscarriages left and right, stillbirths etc, it was a horrendous experience for them. Tried ivf and it failed. They gave up and within I think 2 years they fell pregnant and now have a lovely healthy school aged child. I understand 2 years feels like a lifetime but it takes the average couple a year to conceive, it’s just taking you a bit longer. I really hope you get pregnant but the stress will not be helping! Book a holiday, have some fun chilled out sex and just try to go with the flow.
I am sorry to read this. This was us, and it turned out eventually to be my tubes... not something they can scan for but simply a 'road' block if you will. IVF worked for us. Financially, there is a a lot of support and a lot of options to pay monthly, etc, if that is something that is doable for you. We chose 2 very cheap clinics. Our 1st baby was ABC IVF, and they have a criteria that you need to meet. 2nd baby, we went to Nadhezda clinic in Bulgaria and was under Dr Stamenov through Medspa. 2nd baby was even cheaper than the first, and the care was amazing (much better than the first). I think it was around £3000 all in. Take some time and enjoy the holidays, this fertility stuff is so draining and intense. Re. Your sister in Law - let her have the name... you will find a better one I promise x x
