Itchy following recent birth
I'm in a lot of discomfort downstairs following birth, which was c section.
From my vagina all the way to top of my bump crack is sore and itchy!
I think its a reaction to the pads and disposable pants, following constant bleeding but I can't be sure.
Every morning and night I wash and try to dry as long as possible but obviously only limited time before I need to wear pants again.
Has anyone had this or have any advice?

Did you have a spinal block? One of the main side effects is itching. I’ve been really itchy and they prescribed antihistamines for me

@Holly yes I did have this for the first few days, everything was itching. But this is fairly new ( day 8 since birth) and seems to be getting worse x

I had a reaction to something too - over the backs of my legs and stomach. GP prescribed a steroid cream and antihistamines. It’s just easing off now at nearly 3 weeks.
