Intrusive thoughts are exactly that, intrusive and often of a horrible nature that you don’t want to have. They are not a reflection of what you are or what you will actually be like, it is your mind hijacking you. Each time a thought pops into your head, just remind yourself it’s an unwelcome thought and is not a reflection of yourself. They should lessen. The more time you dwell on the thought the longer it will linger. If you find you are still struggling, ask for a referral to the mental health team xx
I’ve been on and off over the past 10years and I can tell you know things will only get better, when you are going through a bad patch be good to yourself, go for walks in nature and eat healthy and avoid triggers and stimulants, alway have that voice in your head that everything will be ok almost like you having your own back in the rut. You will look back one day and realise your baby was the best thing you ever did, it’s challenging but you will be blessed in so many ways 💕
There is plenty of help out there and many people to speak to about how you feel xx
@Samantha thank you so much this is honestly so reassuring💗x
I get anxious a lot recently. I get worried about something going wrong at the end of my pregnancy. About dying during labour. Honestly sometimes I hate being left alone as that’s when I’m stuck in my own head!
