Returning to work

I’m taking the 9 months mat leave but saved some holiday to take before and after so works out at 10 months 😊

Wish I could take the full year so wouldn’t need to worry about the school summer hols but reckon will only be 9 months as can’t afford unpaid

I’m applying for jobs currently that are “the perfect job” just because I know I’m not going back to my old job…If I get one and it’s right, I’ll go back to work, but if not I’ll be taking the full year

I'm not returning to work until he's at school. I don't want to miss out on anything xxx

My plan is to return around 6 months, maybe 6.5 months if my holidays will allow it. My husband will take about 3 months shared parental leave when I return to work so baby won't go into childcare until around 9 months old.

@Hannah hey I’m thinking of this, are you nervous about losing the time with them or think you’ll be ready to return?
