My targets are 5.3 and under in the morning and post eating is 7.8 too so if the guidelines are similar then I’d say yes, prepare yourself for a positive result. From what I have read is someone with non GD can eat and drink whatever and not spike! I tried this with a friend (she’s not pregnant) about a half hour after she’d drank a redbull and she got a 5.4 🤦♀️ lol x
@Emma thank you for this, I wondered if they would just be high anyway if I hadn’t eaten great. Guess I’ll find out this week for definite! My first was 10lbs 9oz but I was never diagnosed GD but they said I likely had it and it was just missed
The targets I’ve been given are below 5.3 fasting and below 7.8 one hour after meals. I think it varies by trust!
