Flexible working full time examples

I was working Monday to Friday 9-5 when I left for maternity leave, I'm going back next year Tuesday to Friday for the same hours, so dropping one day a week x

When I say same hours, I mean 9-5. My overall hours will be less. She will he in nursery whilst I'm at work x

I changed my hours to work 7-3 but I am going part time in January so will be doing 7-3 4 days a week and then half hour extra in the evening so I’m working 8 hour days. We have the flexibility to work our hours anytime between 7-7. I do those hours because little one is in nursery 9-3 so dad does mornings and I do afternoons.

I was full time then I went to 3 days a week doing 24 hours. Over the summer I changed to 21 hours, still over 3 days.

I do full days on Mon and Fri and a morning on Wednesday. I like it because my daughter is never away more than one day in a row.

I changed hours to 7.30 -4pm and 2 days from home (I have an 1hr commute) it works well!

I work 9-5, four days a week and mostly from home. My husband does the same but he does five days. The kids are at nursery or school while we're working and the lack of commute and being at home to for chores around meetings means we get more time to spend with the kids. Works for us!

I do 8am - 5pm Monday - Wednesday but have a one hour commute either side of that. I find doing slightly more hours over less days works best for us due to the commute and means I get a decent amount of time with our little boy too. It wasn't worth doing more days due to the cost of childcare. The challenge was finding a nursery with long opening hours but ours is open 6:45am - 6pm so I do drop off and my husband picks up

I went part time 7-3 Tues-Fri my partner drops her off at nursery for 9am on Tuesday and Wednesday then he spends his days off with her Thursday Friday and I have her Saturday Sunday Monday 😊

I was working 9-5 Monday-friday but going back to 8-5 3 days a week(not sure what days yet)
