Dr Jess McMicking - Westminster Women’s Clinic. She works out of St Thomas and Westminster Maternity Suite private ward there. Incredible obstetrician!
@Sarah thanks, she is on my list 😊 I’m just a little concerned that she seems to be a very busy person running her own clinic. I wonder if it affects how much time she can dedicate to patients. Did you feel she is too busy for you?
Never! She was amazing both times, answering messages day and night. She rearranged around us multiple times, we had choices as to where to attend scans if we couldn’t make it to Thomas’. Both my babies came not on their due dates or even their elective section dates and both times she worked miracles. Her team at WWC are amazing, her anaesthetist at St Thomas’ (Dr Nat) is fabulous and we’d have baby 3 with her in a heartbeat. Never felt rushed or had queries unanswered. Had my baby 2 weeks ago with her and she’s checked in twice on WhatsApp and even came multiple times after birth to see me in St Thomas’. The team in the St Thomas’ WMS private ward too are so lovely and really helped my recovery and breastfeeding journey ☺️

Not me personally but a mum I know was not getting the help she needed from St Thomas’ so went to the Portland and she was happy with the care she received there
