Anyone happy to share what their non negotiables are for ensuring self care whilst pregnant? I’m finding the juggle with work very hard and I really want to start looking after myself. Background of severe anxiety, PTSD.

I suffer from anxiety, which has heightened so much during pregnancy! I’m juggling work aswell so always (now the nausea has eased) starting the day off with a homemade smoothie, my iron levels have been low so adding spinach in. Making sure I have a nice breakfast before I head to the office (sometimes this comes up when brushing my teeth but a girls gotta try right?!) along with a lunch I actually fancy (hard some days) I’ve researched skincare that’s safe to use during pregnancy, I’ve been using a clay face mask once a week to give myself a treat, lighting lovely scented candles in the evening, reading books that don’t have anything to do with pregnancy to rest my mind before bed. Also I’ve been putting relaxing music playlists on Spotify when I’m in the shower. I’ve signed up to a 4 week pregnancy relaxation course starting in Feb, is there anything like that near you? I’m also avoiding tiktok for any negative pregnancy birth stories. Have to be positive! ❤️

Also, treat yourself to some fresh flowers when you go shopping 💛

My non-negotiable is a really nice cup of coffee in the morning. I used to drink a lot of coffee and never cared about quality but ever since my first pregnancy I've become a bit of a coffee snob and have a whole coffee making ritual with lots of silly equipment and a selection of fancy beans to choose from 😉
