Maternity grant

I’ve heard about this, do you know if everyone expecting their first baby is entitled to it or is there certain criteria?

Has your midwife said anything about it to you? I didn’t know about it till I was 20+ weeks after receiving my matb1 form. I believe it’s if your receiving any benefits/support/allowance, you can check if your eligible on Google on gov.uk

No she’s not mentioned it to me, I still haven’t got my matb1 form so I’ll ask when I see her in a few weeks time. Thank you 😊

It can take up to 6 weeks, they give that length of time just incase they have a lot of cases to go through. Sometimes you'll recieve it earlier. Think mine took like 4 weeks x
