Tubes tied
I have a 2 year old and I'm literally 9 months pregnant due any day. I am 100% wanting my tubes tied but don't know how to go about it?
Has anyone done it? How long did it take to get it done from asking?

I'm 34 this year. Defo no more kids for me at all. I have been told that if I was to have a c section then it could be done but I'm not opting for a section. It would be an emergency only really. My baby is due in 2 days so I'm sure I'll see and can ask the question whilst I'm in hospital
I had my tubes tied in may last year, im 34 and I just went to my doctors and explained to him that I'd had 3 babies, didn't want anymore I went in the January had my tubes tied in may which I thought was really quick considering my consultant told me it was 6+ months waiting list

I’ve not had it done but my friend has and she’s 29, they were very reluctant to give her it as she ‘might want kids in the future’ kept going on about her age and pushed contraception on her repeatedly. She kept pushing and I think it was around 18 months and they finally done it for her. The doctor kept saying how she’d back out etc, really unprofessional. I’ve heard similar things from people in different areas too. I’m also pregnant, due next month. Have said if we have another baby I will be asking them to do this during birth as id be having a C-section so they would be able to do this whilst in there anyways x
