How to wash baby clothes

Hey, sorry if this seems like a silly question, but I don’t have any family members to ask. What temperature should I use? What detergent is best? Should I use fabric softener as well? Can I add Dettol antibacterial laundry sanitiser to kill bacteria, or is that overdoing it? Need to wash them soon so I can dry and pack them in my bag

You can use fairy non bio for the babies clothes you can get the soap and fabric conditioner xx

I am using fairy non bio x

Fairy non bio the pods and then fairy fabric conditioner that’s all you’ll need. I wash my little boys on 40 unless they’re really dirty then hygiene wash at 60. He’s got really bad eczema and fairy is good for his skin! Xx

You can use the fairy gel, pods and fabric softener and a sanitiser to wash them a 30 degree should be fine that’s the temperature I washed them on hope this helps x🩷

Not a silly question! Any non bio and you don't really needed fabric softener unless you really want it. At 30 degrees (or 40) but I put mine on 30 as some of the labels said 30 degrees and some said 40.

I’ve got some Milton laundry tablets I will use for antibacterial as I’ve got lots of second hand clothes! I think otherwise I will get some of the fairy pods and fabric conditioner others have mentioned

We always wash on 40 and use bio detergent (we’re fans of Daz here) as babies and kids clothes get very dirty and higher temperature and enzymes help to lift stains. We use the surcare unscented fabric softener with baby clothes as don’t like them to be too smelly as little babies are super vulnerable and new ❤️ I personally wouldn’t bother with Dettol laundry sanitiser as it is known to be a potential skin irritant ❤️ xx
