You have to apply for the code the term before your return

I tried to do it and won't let you until 31 days before you return

So what do we do if I’m starting baby in nursery in May and I don’t start work till a week after he starts when do I apply for funding?

@Rachel honestly this is very confusing. So baby don’t be able to use those funded hours until September. And I have to wait and apply in April?

@Omoezi correct, well you can apply in April if you want but because you can't use the hours until September you're probably best to wait until close to the date you return as you have to reconfirm your details every 3 months anyway

I’m going back first week of April. So I’ll now apply in March. I should get funded hours from April as it says term starting on or after 1 April or am I reading it wrong?

I'm not sure, my daughter's funding starts 1st April and my nursery gave the deadline of January to get the code to them to give them time to apply for the funding. I'd give your nursery a call x
