Joie stages/steadi, for a baby Joie Juva x It would depend where in the world you’re travelling to though x

@Kiera thank you. It’s a lot to carry isn’t it!!

So car seats get checked with suitcases and you can use your pram to the gate and then it goes under the plane with suitcases unless it’s cabin approved. I went away in July and we used the car seat on the way to airport, took a flat box and tape and packed it at the airport. You can always throw a few extras in the box, we used it for nappies and towels aswell😅 Get a trolley for suitcases and car seat box. Check it all in and then get to plane. Upon collection get a trolley again and grab cases and car seat, when you get to the taxi/car, pop baby in, flatten box and pop in boot with cases etc. If you’re alone it is harder but you can get travel bags for car seats that go on your back so you aren’t juggling. The ‘be safe travel bag’. It is a lot to take but it’s in the best interest of baby to keep them safe. Just another note, if you are using a coach transfer, it’s unlikely you will be able to fit the car seat as they often only have lap belts so a taxi is the ideal situation xx

@Kiera lovely Thanks so much for the helpful reply ❣️

Joie stages we have as a spare, if my sons still within limits when we go on holiday I’ll be borrowing my friends cybex infant carrier x

@Amber thank you 🫶🏽

We have a Graco Slimfit R129, it’s the same seat as Every Stage R129. It’s fairly light so we put it in a car seat bag and carry it on our back

@Irita perfect I’ll look it up Thank you
