Mummas with toddlers are you getting a double pram?

Can’t decide if it’s worth getting a double pram or not my toddler will be 2 when bubs is born.

I have a double, my youngest has just turned 2 and still needs it. However, I have 18 months between her and my oldest and by the time she changed from the bassinet part to the seat on my double, my oldest didn’t need it anymore and would use the buggy board. I would say it really depends on your 2 year old and how tired they get when out and about? Mine dropped her nap quite early and was very grown up for her age x

@Emma I think my biggest concern my toddler is a RUNNER and I don’t think I’ll be able to manage him on foot plus a newborn in a separate pram so maybe to begin with would be easiest to have them both contained.

When I give birth my toddler will be just turned 2. I have changed my current single to one that can have a car seat attached to it but also folds up extremely small (cybex beezy- I absolutely love it it’s by far the best pram I’ve ever had). My plan is to baby wear for the majority of the time with a sling/carrier for the first 6 months or so (what I did with my first anyway) meaning the single is free for my toddler to sit in. I’m also going to buy a buggy bird attachment for whenever I need the newborn in the pram so I have an option for the toddler if needed. I was originally going to buy a double before the birth but my sister had 2 babies with the same gap as me and she ended up selling her pram having hardly used it. If I end up needing one I’m not opposed to getting one further down the line (I’ve got my eye on an out n about v5) but I’m my eyes it’s less effort to buy it IF I need it than to have it take up space I don’t have only to have to sell it if I don’t use it!

I’ll have two under two and my plan is also to baby wear and use the single stroller for my toddler. I think I can make do that way until the baby is bigger and sitting and then I will probably get a wagon for longer outings

Mine will be almost 3 when I give birth and I’m not getting a double pram but my toddler will have his own pram since he doesn’t like walking 😂 Otherwise he’ll ask to be picked up.
