Highchairs

Hi, any highchair recommendations? My baby girl (5 months old) is a bit small for her age, I’m concerned that the tray is going to be too high or the footrest too low, or the back too uncomfortable… I’m so lost 😅

I have the tutti bambini nova to 12 years highchair it’s honestly so amazing and fits my little one perfectly (he is also 5mths and small for his age) but it comes with loads of different options. It is a bit pricey for a highchair but totally worth it x

I have the hauck alpha. I got this one because it grows with your baby and you can adjust the height of the sit and footrest. My baby girl is also 5 months and so far she hasn't cried when sat on it

Just get the £20 ikea one. Honestly high chair can be so expensive and that one does everything you need. You can buy inserts for when they’re little and footrests if you want one

Another vote for ikea- I’ve had other high chairs but this one is sooo much easier to clean.

I surrendered and bought the Stokke Tripp Trapp. 🙈 Yes, it's pricey but I figured it will last for years (in theory up to adulthood!!) and I love that you don't need a tray / the chair tucks nicely under your own table. I also prefer wooden chairs so it looks nice around our table. Big selling point was also the number of adjusted levels for your baby as they grow bigger and the glowing online reviews.

Ikea or chicco strap on portable highchair

We got the ingenuity one from John Lewis. It’s a portable one. It does the job and easy to move around and doesn’t need much space. It also helps the child to watch and learn when eating together at the dining table
