Birth Plan

Does anyone have a birth plan outline? Or things to consider? We recently moved and no doula or anyone comes to our home. This is our first baby and I just want to be sure we have a plan and advocate for ourselves in the hospital. I’m not wanting a natural or non-medicated birth but other small things I want to ensure are in place. Our doctors office and hospital seem to be together with the delayed cord clamping and skin to skin but just want to make sure we aren’t overlooking something. Thanks in advance!

I have a duala and I would 100 percent consider mine is just awesome and ik other people who’s she worked that have loved her

I liked the “Mommy Labor Nurse” Free Printables of the Birth Prep Pack. As a starting point. She does a podcasts that I listen to on my way to work. Also my hospital’s website had a vague birth prep outline I printed as well.

Download the birth plan app. Also check with your insurance they might pay for a doula

I was actually able to sit on the phone with someone and put a birth plan in place with my first baby. They gave me handouts beforehand so when it came to making the actual plan, I knew what I wanted. Just be aware that things may change as the labor progresses and things may not go according to plan

Thank y’all so much!
