@Hannah i sent mine thursday and no confirmation text yet! i sent it next day too so im worried now! been on hold for ages!!!! not what you want to be stressing out about at 36 weeks pregnant ayy!🤣😭

@Kristy if you aren’t employed or entitled to SMP from employer then yes , it’s on the GOV website to print, complete and post . i literally searched “maternity allowance form” and it came up xx
@Kristy i’m employed but not been there long enough due to moving city, so i had to provide 13 weeks of payslips, my original MAT B1 and the forms all in one envelope and post them an application xx
I sent mine back in October and only heard back in December. First payment was mid December 🥴🥴 they're extremely busy but it will get back dated!
i finally got on the phone after over an hour on hold… they received it on the 10th, it was scanned in they just never updated me! panic over hahaha x
After I sent mine in I got a text that they’d be in contact within 28 days but I don’t know if that’s different in different places x
Mine took around 6 weeks to have it sorted
I got a text this morning after sending it on Tuesday. I would give them a call just to check in, better than leaving it 😊
