Slightly high levels of amniotic fluid
I was sent for a growth scan (baby is measuring around 67th percentile so all fine) but they found slightly higher levels of amniotic fluid. I’m having another scan to check it again at 37 weeks, currently 34+2. Anyone else had or have this? They did keep saying it’s only slightly higher than ‘normal’ range but mentioned several possible complications if it doesn’t go down into normal range.

I had this last week at 35 weeks, went back for another scan yesterday and the consultant said it was probably her position pushing all the fluid into one place and it was absolutely normal now. Hope it’s the same for you x

I had this at around 31 weeks, and at my next scan 10 days later they said it was back to normal! My consultant told me the measurements can vary based on baby’s position and all sorts, but generally the only major risk is it being uncomfortable for you!
