Undescended testicles
Anyone’s boy still have undescended testicles at 8 months? We had a HV appointment yesterday and while I was changing him to get weighed she noticed and said to get the GP to feel as he will need surgery if this is the case. She said not to worry until he’s 1 but Google says if they haven’t descended by 6 months it’s likely they won’t and I’m stressed and worried as I can’t imagine him having surgery this young 😭

Some times Google is confusing and miss leading so don't worry. Hopefully you have some peace of mind now but you always have the GP to double check everything
I have also heard that if not down by 1 then they need surgery but most drop by 1.

Your HV is right with them not being down till 1 year. My mates baby boy didn't descend till 10.5 months. If it gives you peace of mind do speak to the GP about it
