Finally pregnant but
So i am finally pregnant after 3 years of trying and infertility treatments. When people ask me how many years will be inbetween this baby and the one I already have i say 4 years. All of them say „wow what a perfect age gap“ „that’s an amazing age difference“ „awesome timing“ and i just nod and smile. Later I‘m crying in my car..this is never what I wanted. Don’t get me wrong i am so so happy about this pregnancy but also sad that it didn’t go as planned.

My 1st and 2nd are 4 years apart, and honestly it's a great age gap! I'd never in a million years want 2 under 2, hell no
Your feelings a totally valid! I wanted a closer age gap and have had 2 losses. I have been trying now for 2 years and every month i see that age gap just widening. Infertility is so complex. Youre allowed to feel multiple things at once🤗

It’s completely understandable. I wanted to have at least 2 kids before 30. Started ttc at 26, finally had my first Nov 2024 at the age of 32. Is it what I’ve planned? Not at all. But so very grateful. Infertility is one of those things you just can’t predict and it’ll knock you for six. You just have to be willing to get back up, brush yourself off and get on with it. Undoubtedly regardless of how long it takes, we will always be most grateful because we know there is always someone who is still in the thick of it. Xx
