GD Test
I have my glucose tolerance test next week and when getting booked in, the receptionist told me I shouldn’t brush my teeth beforehand. The test is first thing in the morning and as trivial as it is, I will be distracted leaving the house with morning breath 🤣🤣 was anyone else told the same thing? Anyone I’ve asked has told me they weren’t told not to brush their teeth so just wanted to ask on here?

I’ve had this done 3 times over both pregnancies and never been told that. I think she’s talking 💩😂 I’ve brushed my teeth every time and it’s never caused an issue. Brush your teeth 🥰
I’ve had this test and was told only to not swallow toothpaste/the water when rinsing etc x
I’ve had this done twice and never told this, was just told not to eat or drink anything besides water from 10pm the night before the app xx
