During my last pregnancy, I struggled with severe nausea and constant exhaustion - it was overwhelming. Now I’m pregnant again (yay!) and have been working with expert doulas and nutritionists to approach things differently this time. Based on what I’ve learned, I put a first trimester success guide with expert answers to common questions and tips to manage common symptoms such as nausea and fatigue. Please DM me if you’re interested in this guide. Happy to share in case it helps. You got this ❤️

My first semester nausea and fatigue lasted until about 14 weeks. I could barely work a full day, I went off flat water (aversion) and started ice cold sparkling water. I craved loads of fruit and dairy. It was hard to get my protein. Blender smoothies seemed a life saver. Also preggy pops off amazon were great. Just get as much sleep as you can you need it. For work I’m lucky bc my work is somewhat flexible. I’m not micro managed. I barely could work a full work day (I used to work 11 -14 hour days down to maybe 4 hours). Just do what you can. I didn’t tell my work I was pregnant until I was “in the clear” at 13-14 weeks so I’m sure they noticed my productivity was down but no one said anything to me. So I lucked out. I hear walking helps create energy but it felt impossible for me. It was the longest 14 weeks of my life so far …. I totally get it. GL ! Be gentle with yourself.
Im the same…Im hating it at the moment…im 8weeks, can’t stomach the thought of most foods, I now hate my job because I just sit and wait for customers all day and it’s not very busy…which means im just sat in pain and feeling sick 😩😩
Heya. Congrats on your little one! First trimester is tough but the key is to eat little and often and keep yourself hydrated. I actually went off still water and drank sparkling which helped my digestion. There is conflicting information out there so listen to your body, it will tell you what it wants - In my first trimester my body was craving tomato soup and sausages lol rest when you’re able to rest and don’t be too hard on yourself. Work is a tough one but I would speak to your manager as soon as so if you need to take breaks or eat a few more snacks they are in the know. It’s only 12 weeks and it did get easier I found Around 10 weeks, so your nausea will hopefully die down and your appetite will get better. Going for walks and a little gentle exercise did really help as well. You can do this!
