Gift for Birthday
Hi!!
Sorry for the silly question, but for 2 years old if I give a gift card as a birthday gift how much is appropriate?
I am asking because my baby has been invited for a birthday of another 2 year old, and I thought that the best solution is to give a gift card as present… since I do not know the tastes of the birthday girl for a toy and clothes on this age vary so much.
The issue is that I do not know how much is the appropriate amount? £25? £40? £50?

I’d go like £15 personally
I do £15 for nursery friends, if it’s close friends I do £15 and get them a little gift to go with it

Yep I’d say £15 -20 as well. Nothing more if it isn’t someone close to you.
Have a look on early learning centre they have a age selection which might give ideas for a 2 year old ☺️

For me I think it depends how close you are to them - if it was one of the babies from nursery I would probably give £10, as there’s so many of them, if they all had parties I wouldn’t be able to afford to be giving them all loads 😂 If it’s my close friends kids we usually do £30 which we agreed ages ago so it’s always the same :) xx
