Do not strech and bend sorry
My c section was great. 2 weeks post c section and I'm pretty much fully recovered. However as advised take pain killers even if you feel ok especially for the first week or 2 and take it easy. I have experienced an emergency and an elective c section and I can easily say they were both completely different. Elective was soooo much better
@Izzy thank you so much for this x
@Kirsty this puts my mind at ease! I would definitely rather elective but I just wish I could naturally let my body deliver baby safely!
Remember you can always change your mind about things don't feel you are being forced into something, it's always your choice. I had an emergency c section 3 weeks ago. I was also really gutted I wasn't able to have a natural birth safely and it will take some time to get over. I was scared about c section but had a really positive experience in the end and the recovery after the first week and a half was much better than I expected, but it's different for everyone. Best of luck!
I’m not great with hospitals and certainly never wanted a c-section! I’ve now had two emergency c-sections and first time round was a shock to the system and recovery was tough as I didn’t know what to expect etc. second time round now I’m two weeks postpartum and I’m in and out of bed and moving around fine. Advice I would give…. Get out of bed the next day, move around gently(keeping active but not overdoing it), keep up with pain meds even if you don’t feel you need them, don’t expect too much, don’t over do it, keep level headed for at least two weeks where jobs around the house won’t get done, look after yourself. You can do this 💪🏻❤️
I was the same my boy came earlier than we thought just 37 weeks as my waters went at 34 so I had a C-section. I was terrified of a C-section I hate needles and recovery scared me. Tips: Get up when you can it will help after surgery it helps first time hurts but it gets easier everytime. Keep taking painkillers even if you feel you don’t need them. Don’t bend and push yourself recovery will take longer Take disposable pants ,maternity pads and a peri bottle you will need these especially Take comfy clothes like a nighty Try shower as soon as you can and air dry your incision Take your own towel to hospital they have tiny towels I’m 2 weeks post C-section and recovery is not as bad as I thought it does it get easier, get as much help as possible to do stretch and bend to much this will slow down recovery. You got this♥️
