I'm still waiting for baby no.2 to arrive but baby number 1 was measuring 50th centile throughout which should have been over 7lbs 8oz when born but she came out 15th centile at 6lb 15oz.
I haven’t had my January baby yet, but had a growth scan with my first at 39 weeks and they estimated just under 5lb, he arrived 5 days later weighing 6lb 13oz. So not very accurate for me 😂
With my first they estimated her to be 5 pound 4 and 3 days later she was born at 5pound 7 so pretty accurate. Haven’t had my second yet x
I have been told they are notoriously up to 10% off… sometimes even a lb … I had my last growth scan on December 30th saying he was 7lbs 13 oz…. He was born 4 days later on January 3rd and only weighed 7lbs 1.6oz! So I think all his previous growth scans were also a little big… because they were saying he had a huge head, and he was gonna be a huge baby, but he was fine
They were completely off in all my other pregnancies but I had a growth scan on the Monday and they said 8lb 14oz baby was born on the Friday 9lb exactly 🤣
I had a scan at 37 weeks showing her weight as 7lb 13oz placing her approx 95%, and she was born at 39 weeks at 8lb 11oz, which was 93%. So very accurate for me
My 2 third trimester scans said weight would be 80th percentile and baby was 27th!
Baby no. 1: scan at 39 weeks suggested 8lbs 1oz, born 40+6 at 8lbs 12oz. Baby no. 2: scan at 39 weeks suggested 7lbs 8oz, born 39+6 at 8lbs 2oz... x
I had a scan on the 1st and they estimated her to be on the 95% and would be 9lbs around 39+3. She was born last Sunday on the 12th at 39weeks and was 9lbs exactly
I had to have them from around 24 weeks due to baby dropping from 50th percentile to the 3rd. Went every week until 37/38 weeks and she went up and down for a bit. They estimated her to be 7lbs bang on at 38 weeks and she came out 7lbs 3oz so pretty accurate in the end although we did question them a lot because of how much she went up and down x
