Haircut
My wee boys hair is getting long and needs a cut but I’m worried as he cannot sit still! There’s a little salon near me that has the wee race cars and stuff for them to sit in but I’m still worried as he’s so little
Has anyone else took their little ones for a hair cut yet? How did it go??

I took my son, he wouldn’t sit in the cars so they just cut his hair while he sat on my lap, he didn’t love it but over within 10 minutes
Yeah my son is due his 4th hair cut. He just sits on my lap or his dad's (his dad has even taken him on his own!). If he starts to play up we just give him our phone (don't come for me lol I know it's bad but you do what you got to do). But to be honest he's so interested in what's going on its usually the very last part where you can tell he's just getting bored of sitting still x

I took my eldest at 10mo, just a trim though where I held him and the barber snipped at his fringe and round his ears, and then for a proper cut with my hairdresser in her at home salon, at about 13/14m. He had to sit on my lap, but did fine with distractions like snacks, playing with little toys, holding a comb etc. I don’t think he would have sat down in one of those little cars on his own! It got trickier when he got a little older.
