Appointment times
Do they give appointments after 3 ? I mean scans, first appointment with midwife.. I feel weird asking for offs. Would prefer if it's after work. thanks so much.

@Emma they do. I'm just not ready to disclose my pregnancy yet. Until the first scan at least. I would prefer telling them after my 20 week scan but I would start showing by then so I'm better off telling them closer to my first scan
Ah I understand completely. Have you logged your pregnancy with the maternity services yet? They will call you when you get to like 8-10 weeks to book your first antenatal appt. At this point you can request a preferred time for your 12 week scan I think. You definitely should be able to work around it without telling work if you don’t want to yet

Most of my appointments have been after 3 apart from glucose test and scans. All antenatals have been 3/4ish. But you do get a letter through for the scans and glucose test (if you need one), so your workplace have to give it you off.
