Question

I bought one at 12 weeks for anxiety after a loss. I’m now 18 weeks and I use it once a week to check on baby! If I have any advice it’s to BE PATIENT when finding heartbeat! Don’t psych yourself out and just keep trying

In my opinion it is SO worth it! I have the pink/white one off amazon and its wonderful for me and my fiancé to hear his beautiful heartbeat every night before bed. Just don’t worry if you cant find him, it can be a little tricky especially at first. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a lot of anxiety surrounding your pregnancy.

I got one and love it 😭 don’t use it to like check on the baby but I use it as a bonding thing. I say it worth it tho

It’s fun honestly I can feel my girl in here having fun at placenta park but hearing her heartbeat is just fun

I bought one off marketplace. I don’t always know if I’m hearing the right thing so they say they can give false sense of security. I might try to take mine into my OB and see if she can give me a crash course lol

@Morgan 100% agree!! Definitely worth the purchase but be patient with finding the heartbeat. I freaked out because I couldn’t find my baby’s heartbeat, turns out she was just in a comfy position, waited like 5 minutes, tried again and found her heartbeat.

We like having one ourselves. My husband purchased one for me for Christmas b/c we only got to hear it for like 10 seconds at our second ob/gyn appointment. It brings me comfort knowing if I don’t always feel the baby flutters I can grab that to calm my nerves & find the heartbeat. Also b/c we are moving & I like checking to make sure I didn’t overdo it or risk the baby’s health

Of course it better to wait until your OB visit for accurate hearing, if you’re patient… I wasn’t 😅 I heard it’s not the best idea to get them because sometimes you can’t find a heart beat then you think the worst. I still got one and loved it, I found a heart beat almost every time, it did take a while most of the time. So yes you have to be patient when looking for one, just go very slow. Get it if you think you’ll be ok if you have trouble finding one and stay calm. You got this 💪🏻 Being pregnant is stressful, but you’re doing great!
