Anyone bled after an internal scan?
I had an internal scan yesterday baby’s heartbeat was detected measuring 6 weeks.
A few hours after I felt a gush in my knickers like when you leak on your period I went to the toilet and it was red blood not a lot only a little bit still scared the crap out of me and was on the tissue after I wiped as well and happened a few times after that.
It seems to have stopped now and is back to brown discharge but did anyone experience this? I don’t know what to do or how to feel I’m so anxious.

@Cal I went for a private scan, I can’t find a number for EPU online and the one I did find it says I have to be referred 🙁
Try calling 111 or your GP. It’s different in different areas which isn’t helpful. Did 6 weeks seem about right? If so, plenty of people do bleed in pregnancy and go on to have a healthy baby. So try not to worry.
@Cal just been to the GP they referred me to the EPU so hopefully hear from them soon🤞🏼 I thought I was further along I though I was 8w 1day but went for a scan yesterday and measuring 6w 1 day I’m hoping it is just nothing to worry about :( x

I’d re contact your Early Pregnancy Unit (guessing they did the scan?) It could be nothing but worth getting checked out. Hope everything is okay 💕
