Worried about everything

Hi, I'm a constant worrier and have had therapy beforehand, I miscarried in December and got pregnant instantly afterwards, I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant and want to stop googling everything I do to see if I've hurt anything

Hey I’m the same, had a miscarriage and now pregnant and worrying about every little pain, cramp etc. I spoke with my midwife last night and she’s reassured me it’s all normal. But I completely understand where you’re coming from

I think it’s normal to worry, especially after a loss. I had a miscarriage in Aug 2023 and this is my first pregnancy since so I’ve been feeling nervous too. I’ve just come to the conclusion that I don’t want to look back when baby arrives and feel sad that I missed out on enjoying these weeks, nausea and all! I’d speak with your therapist and see if they can offer any coping strategies that might help you.

I've had 2 losses and feel the same I'm hoping when/if I make it to 12 weeks I might be able to relax a bit

I’m exactly the same worrying about absolutely everything. I spoke to my midwife and doctor today and they’ve said I can be referred to EPAU at 8 weeks for a reassurance scan unless anything happens before then I can be seen at 6 weeks. I’m 4.4 atm so feels like ages away. But I’m trying to ride the waves and enjoy this unexpected surprise x

I'm sorry to hear of all your losses 😔 all I know is that this pregnancy feels a lot different from the last one, in a good way so I'm hopeful it's going to go well this time. I saw a Dr this morning to check me over but I can't do that every time. I tried to get back to see my old therapist as she said I can always get re affered but they said they that they don't feel like that service is right for me at the moment, they gave me details for a baby loss therapy service. Hopefully I calm down after a while 😊 good luck with everyone elses pregnancies
