Is it bad I've not gone to a single session at the children's centre ? Feel so guilty

My lil one and I do alot at home in terms of play and sensory stuff cos it's just not practical for me to go sometimes.

There’s NO need. I’m an OT. I go very rarely. The ones I’ve attended have been an utter joke. People coining it in by throwing balls and a parachute around. Everything in the world is sensory.

@Hayley thank you that's reassuring to know. It's just the pressure from HV to take her and constantly feeling judged for not going.

I do try and get to the library for rhyme time - it’s free. Not nice to be made to feel this way by the HV. I’d ask what parts of development they feel the baby needs to expand on for a little clarity 🙂

@Hayley thank you they're happy with her development but they keep just saying it as a social thing. So makes me feel a bit bad although she is around plenty of family friends and cousins /kids

That’s what I do - family / friends / peanut mum dates and their babies 💫✨

I’ve never been for either of my children.

I havent been to any baby classes either, theyre just not for me! Done my own thing with her and shes perfectly happy! You do you! They just like being out and about so dont see why a baby class is a must🤷🏼‍♀️
