Heart murmur
My little one is 2 and was at the doctors before Christmas with a cough and they said she had something called a flow murmur. They said it should go away on its own in a month however when back for a check up today it's still there and is now being referred for a scan. Has anyone else been through this ? Have any insight into what happens next ? Advice etc?

My son born in June, he had a murmur when born, still there at 6 week check, at 11 weeks we went to hospital and he was scanned and diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis, then at the beginning of this month, he had a balloon catheter, but that was only because his case was marked as severe. It’s scary going through it all, but the main thing we remembered was that they caught it and is being helped!

My son was also 2, in for a cough, and they found a murmur. He went for a scan about 6/9 months later, and they just told me it wasn't anything to worry about. It's something he can live with, and that was it. However, my second is due soon, and he's going to be monitored for a murmur as well x
