Baby proofing kitchen doors

Can anyone recommend? We have a door opener son now and I can’t keep putting things back in the cupboards 😂 Has anyone found a good baby proofing solution? There are so many different types out there it’s hard to know what to pick!

I have the above locking system. I've can't get them to work. I've given up.

@Nina I went on YouTube and had a look at fitting videos because the instructions weren’t very clear. Has the previous owner left them unlocked or locked ?
