That’s so poor from them it’s almost laughable! I had that last week but had done the test the week previously, if you had something terrible going on you’d know about it by now and it would have flagged up on their system, it was probably dismissed at the time then it somehow came up somewhere and maybe now the policy is to follow up rather than dismiss. For example my urine sample had traces of blood in it but nothing grew- they said normally they’d consider that a negative result and not contact me but because I’m pregnant thought best to repeat, got the same result in the repeat and this time they’ve chosen to ignore it lol
@Lor to make things worse he didn’t even know that I had preeclampsia that same year in the February which can cause kidney and liver damage when I said it must be linked to that he said oh that’s not down in the notes and the blood test and urine sample they want me to do is to check my kidney function so I’ve made a complaint asking why is none of my medical history linked together , that is awful I’d want to know why the blood is showing and how it’s going to be treated as surely it’s not supposed to be there could it be some kind of infection etc don’t let them dismiss you as I’m not going to now either they can’t be trusted in my opinion which is very sad 😔
Bloody hell you’re so right you really can’t trust them, it’s scary how incompetency can literally put your life at risk, at my 12 week scan they asked if I had a previous vaginal birth, I said no a caesarean but she obviously wasn’t listening as she put vaginal on the forms anyway which it’s lucky I spotted or I wouldn’t be under a consultant now preparing for my second birth!
Ok medical notes Big heads up nhs/Gp don’t share same system as midwives even thou they’re in same buildings sometimes. As well as some practices not attaching links 🔗 n things to yiur file- that’s unacceptable- is demand practice manager conversation and they correct it. Badger notes app or paperwork in a folder 📁 is what I’ve seen this pregnancy but my stuff is mostly on badger. Dunno who did my notes, the Gp or a midwife using their equipment but they’ve got the dates wrong. Was only at first scan - meant yo be 12 weeks but actually was 18 weeks, they found out all measurements n had to do two scans in 1, like boy or girl, the fluid on his neck, they’ve still not corrected the dates on badger app. But all other scans n everything done with midwives they know wen my baby is due coz of conversations and me n my notes n what is published on badger notes. You can ring your team - mainline to get them to set up badger so you are more informed, comfortable
I’ve spoken to a doctor who has informed me that apparently gps have recently introduced a program that is trying to target those at risk of kidney disease and catch it early so treatments can be done to reduce the pressure on the nhs further down the line which makes more sense but not the best news that they think I could be one of them people 😢 x
Oh huni, sorry you having to go thru this. It’s sounds scary and frustrating, let’s look at some options for you ❤️What doctors are you with ? (Don’t tell me) just think is this their procedure/ practice? Ring them directly, get them to Check again and possibly get them to do it all again. If they concerned now? 💛Have yiu git the NHS app, everything should go to that no matter how long ago. 🩷If you can’t get anywhere with the Gp or receptionist please Ring 111 and tell them you are concerned about this, is it a hoax or real? can they shed some light on the matter?
