Pregnancy pillow

Do I need a pregnancy pillow if I already sleep with a pillow between my knees? I sleep with one pillow between my knees and snuggle another pillow. I’m just not sure if I’ll end up wanting the back support of a u shaped pillow.

I mostly use mine for in between my legs but have been told by friends to have the back support to stop rolling over when bump is bigger x

In the first trimester you will be okay with your pillow system but you might want something more as you get further along.

Never had one, don’t get the hype… takes up too much space on our bed. Body pillow should work. Memory foam body pillow!

I've got myself a big u-shaped one, it's so comfy and feels like a cocoon. Takes up a lot of space but if you have a king size bed or bigger it'll be fine. I need it to stop myself from rolling onto my back because I am definitely a back sleeper, husbands very jealous of it and wants his own 😅

You don’t necessarily “need” one. But you “want” one. 😁 I’ve had the U shape for all 3 pregnancy’s I get super excited when it’s time to pull it out. It’s my little cocoon. Hubby knows if both sides are down, I’m unavailable and sleeping 😂

I found mine more trouble than it was worth tbh. I really loved it when I first tried it because it’s so comfy to feel fully supported but I also like to switch sides often in the middle of the night and mine wasn’t the same on both sides so it wasn’t as comfy if I switched. Plus it was hard to move my pregnant body around with it to do that or get up to use the bathroom. I just use a pillow between my knees now and it’s much easier because any time I need to switch I just lift up the covers and roll, and it stays right with me

I never used a pregnancy pillow (nor any pillow for that matter…). I think it depends on where and how much you’re carrying, the softness of your bed, and what kind of support you may need to sleep. I opted not to get one as I didn’t want something I could only use for a few weeks and then just have to store. But never needed anything anyway.

@Chloe yea I toss and turn too, if I’m on one side for too long my legs get sore so I have to go back and forth. I think I’ll be fine with what I do now but I might eventually want back support I think

I LOVED mine. My husband did not 😂 I used it to help my bump be elevated slightly bc I hated the feeling of being completely on my side.
