Bamboo suction plates Bibado bibs Plastic fork/spoon any brand will do Tum tum straw cup (when they can start using straw)
Tommee tippee weaning starter kit, a highchair (ikea is good), and some bibs. Hand blender, big ice cube trays with lid for purees.
Once baby gets older, it will be a good idea to keep an extra set of weaning utensils (plate, cup, cutlery, etc) to take with you to restaurants and family occasions, so they have something to eat off of that isn't a ceramic plate. It wasn't an issue at first when we were mostly weaning at home but as we got more confident, we just always kept a set in the car so we didn't have to worry about bringing it every time. I use it, take it home, clean it, and put it back so it's ready for the next time.
Personally I would avoid silicone we found it just grabbed the taste of the soap it was washed with or if you put it in the dishwasher and it would put baby off, and we just used our blender we didn’t buy a specific baby one, we loved the bibado aprons though! And we got refillable pouches off Amazon so I could make my own purées and big ice cube trays to freeze in a portion size 🙂
