Washing baby clothes that have food

I feel embarrassed even asking this but how do y’all go about cleaning your baby’s clothing that they eat in? I have been stripping mine down every time I feed him solids because I’m worried he will ruin/stain his clothes and I don’t know how to wash them after. Do y’all feed your baby in their clothing every time and just let them get dirty? If so, how do you handle washing their laundry? When I’ve tried in the past I rinse off the clothes initially and the washing machine still stinks of old rotten food after the fact 😮‍💨 man this motherhood thing is a lot of work…

We also used to strip ours. But then we found these. https://a.co/d/59QAx6f and if he does end up with a stain we use this, just spray and throw in a laundry basket till next wash/wash right away if it is a stubborn stain https://a.co/d/gZDPzb0

I use Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover. It works awesome! https://a.co/d/hklXtJ3

Dont be embarrassed A lot of mommies use the bibs/ aprons types to prevent clothes getting messy But sometimes I dont have them handy so I just say F it and let him get dirty. I sit him in the kitchen sink and take off his clothes there. I have an ikea stick scrubber and i scrub the clothes if necessary and just keep it moist / but wring out the water, usually doesnt let a stain happen. Target/ amazon sells kids stain remover spray that is family safe too!

We do all meals in a diaper only. No stained clothes! I was tired of clothes getting stained and finding bits of oatmeal and whatnot in the washing machine.
