Thank you , I had a travel system for my little boy he hated the bassinet also so from about 5 months he was in the sitting up bit. And then because of how bulky they are , i brought a stroller. I’m just trying to be practical really. I will have a look at this now x
I have 2 strollers, and it's absolutely fine. I connect them when if need be. The only downside to it is that you need to strap bubs inside the insert. As long as you have them adjusted, it's all good.
@Rasa thank you , yeah that’s what I thought I’ll just buy universal buggy clips and attach them when I need to , just feel like by the time baby no.2 is here my boy will look too big in the travel system double x What strollers do you have and what insert did you buy?x
I have 2 silvercross clic ones and a bugaboo insert (any will do frankly)
i use a joovy for my pram, i also drive. the joovy has to be bought from the us but it is cost friendly and an AMAZING double. joovy ultralight is what i have. the only downside is the basket. it has a built in buggy board, there’s an add on you can buy so the buggy board bench can be used as a full seat with a back, until baby is around 4-6months and can sit up, you need to use the car seat in the front of the pram and second child at the back. realistically if you want stress free days out without picking up your 2yo, or having them moan about walking so much or not being able to keep up/busy crowds, shopping centres and worrying about them falling asleep whilst out…you’ll want a double for longer than 6 months. my 5yo and 3yo are still in the joovy when we go out and about, 5yo has the option to jump out and back when she’s a bit tired…she is a small 5yo though, can easily pass for just turned 4
@chey I definitely plan on using a double for much longer but not necessarily a travel system is what I’m saying as they are so bulky! This looks very interesting xx
If the pram can lie flat it might be worth looking at getting a cocoon like the Phil and Teds one. We have one and use it a lot, means if they fall asleep in the pram you can just pick it up with them in it and move it inside which is handy
I’ll have a look at this thank you!! X
I can tell you what I'm using for my newborn. We had a proper pram with bassinet but he hates it so he is always in his stroller or baby carrier. We have Joie Brisk. I bought separately universal footmuff - Red Kite. So in general it looks similar to the picture that you attached. I think I've seen people with 2 children in Joie Brisk as well. I bought both stroller and footmuff on Argos
