Yeah as someone who has two little girls and grew up around 4 brothers ranging from ages 4-22, it’s honestly the exact same other than the higene aspect!
Get into the folds as best you can and front to back.

It’s no different lol. Other than the way you clean them😂 make sure to get in all the folds when they poop. Other than that, it’s just like having a baby boy
