Short luteal phase

I'm 4 months in to ttc baby #2. Every month my luteal phase gets a day shorter. Today my period has started at 11 DPO. I don't know what to do and I'm starting to feel defeated. I got pregnant so fast with my first so this feeling is so unfamiliar to me and I just don't know how to go in to the next month with optimism. If my luteal phase gets any shorter, it'll be almost impossible to have enough time for implantation if I even get a fertilized egg.

Luteal phase lasts 12-16 days. 12 is pretty typical so 11 days isnt anything crazy. If it makes you feel better my follicles were always really small when I ovulated which typically doesn’t allow for fertilization but my small 16mm follicles resulted in 2 babies!

Yes, typical is 12-16 Try out proov supplement they also sell progesterone oil which might help. If not you could get a progesterone prescription.

Luckily I already have an appointment scheduled with my OB this upcoming week anyway so I can talk to her about my concerns but I'm just extra emotional about it today. Thanks ladies!

I have a 9-10 day luteal phase and I’ve conceived 3 times last year, one ectopic, one miscarriage and now currently pregnant with twins 🙂

I have a short luteal phase about 10 days too. Took 6 months with the first and now in months 2 of ttc for number 2. It will happen :)

Hey, I was really worrying about this. My first was a happy accident and we conceived first cycle I was off the pill but my 2nd we were tracking and I had a 9 day luteal phase. I freaked out did loads of googling and started to take high dose vit C and B vitamins but it didn’t really change it for me. I ended up falling pregnant 4th cycle and am now 17 weeks so should have saved myself the worry. No progesterone or anything. I think it seems to affect some people but not others- I have everything crossed for you xx
